Using a Black Woman as a prop is racist

The women in these stories are collateral damage, and the purpose of their existence within these narratives is the opportunity they provide for men to grow and learn. The fact of those women’s suffering is at best a footnote.
The word of the day is echo. That which you have said, allow to come back to you. If the taste is sweet in your heart, then well and good. If it is sour, acrid, bitter, or otherwise unpleasing, let that knowledge season your future choices, making communication and connection easier for all.
If we can tell you apart, the least you can do is not get the one of two Asians whom you know confused with the other. It’s not that hard.
